Cara loves twix candy bars!
Will's favorite is Lindt chocolate balls
Chocoloves' Cherries and Almonds. I hate to admit it, but I probably have at least 2 a week.
I LOVE LOVE Candy - I love Reeses peanut butter cups, and twix, and snickers! Did I say how much I love candy? I have an addiciton, and what do they say - the first step is admitting it?! I really love sour patch kids, and skittles more than chocolate. I loved this post, and I am not a family member, so I didn't want to comment - b/c I don't want the give away, but I did want to comment on the candy. How fun.
How can there be a favorite? It's like choosing your favorite child. They all mean so much to me in different ways...they are all my favorite.
Hmmm... I am currently enjoying an (Oakland-based) Michel Mischer Dark Chocolate with spiced almonds.. yummy
Chocolate. Anything from Bradley's (especially their chocolate covered graham crackers and non perils) I like miniture size candy so I can eat a variety.
I always lean toward straight forward chocolate like a kiss, a hershey bar, a lindt ball. I also love twix and milky way bars.
allie goes for lindt balls or any fruity gummy candy.
Susan and I have never been able to track down this one amazing type of Milka bar at Christmas time that had sort of a creamy middle with ground up peppermint in it. We got it once in 2004 and have never found it again. It has since taken up mythical status in our family--the one that got away. We think they only sell it in Germany.
As close runners-up for me, I'd have to say "Ritter Sport Butter Biscuit", "Willy Wonka Bar," and anything that has milk chocolate and macadamia nuts in it. Oh and peanut M&M's--the commoner's candy.
FROM TAMARA: Tamara couldn't get her comment on here, so I'm pasting it in for her. Here is what she said:
"I'm a lifetime "Chocolaholic" I'll eat anything that is chocolate. When I was in the
1st Grade the students were all given an iodine supplement. The teacher kept them in her desk. One time when the teacher was out of the room at lunchtime, a friend and I took the bottle from her desk and ate most all of the supplements. Why??...because they were chocolate flavored and so yummy! We never got caught, but I often wonder what all that excess iodine did to me. It didn't affect my love for chocolate...that's for sure."
Niederegger marzipan, milka schocko & keks, and kinder eggs!
